Holly Jane, a former Mormon and adult content creator, is speaking out about the hidden struggles of women in the church and she’s not holding back.
Once excommunicated after her bishop discovered her OnlyFans career, the 42-year-old mother of three now says she’s ready to return to the faith, not in shame, but to challenge the system from within.
After watching Hulu’s The Secret Life of Mormon Wives, Holly felt frustrated by how the show glossed over the deeper realities.

While the series portrayed women living double lives and dabbling in “soft swinging,” Holly says the real issue is the unspoken trauma and strict cultural expectations Mormon women face daily especially around modesty, silence, and conformity.

Despite no longer wearing temple garments, Holly still follows many religious standards she doesn’t drink, swear, or even drink soda.
Yet she was removed from her church community, banned from sacraments and temple entry, all because of her online work. In contrast, she points out, women in the show weren’t expelled, even while breaking church rules behind the scenes. To her, it’s a glaring double standard.

Now living in Texas, Holly hopes a new bishop might offer the compassion her previous one didn’t. She’s determined to sit in the pews again and reclaim her place, not out of rebellion but out of conviction.
She believes many Mormon women are quietly juggling secret lives just to stay part of the fold. “It’s not a trend it’s survival,” she says. The church, she argues, often leaves bishops too much power to judge what’s sinful, which leads to arbitrary and unequal treatment.

Her kids know about her job and support her, though it hasn’t been without challenges especially for her teenage son. Still, Holly insists she’s doing what she must to support her family while staying true to her spiritual roots.
Calling herself a modern day Mary Magdalene, Holly says she’s not ashamed of her path. She believes God led her to OnlyFans, and now, He’s leading her back to church not to apologize, but to stand her ground.
“I’m back and I’m taking my seat in the pew,” she says.
