Shanna, 33, from Colorado, has spent nearly 14 years in the adult industry, but says she’s now finding unexpected joy behind the mic.
“I’ve always liked watching comedy and I was a class clown,” she told NudeNewz.
“I was a theatre kid. Honestly, I should have tried this a lot sooner.”
Her comedy journey started in 2023 after a messy breakup with a comedian.
“I went to open mics drunk talking about our breakup and then I ended up liking it,” she said.
“I started getting paid gigs last year and I’ve been digging it.”
Since posting short clips online, fans have begun asking for comedy-based custom work – including a request that left even her stunned.
“I had somebody pay me to go to an open mic and talk about their penis for five minutes on stage, fully clothed,” she said.
“Two hundred dollars for me just to do that.”
The fan sent her a picture and asked for “small **** humiliation”.
“Everybody’s different,” she said.
“They just wanted me to make jokes about their body.”
Shanna says she keeps these bits strictly to open mics rather than professional shows.
“I don’t think I could do it in an actual paid show unless the venue is really okay with it,” she said.
“But if that takes off for me, who knows – maybe that’ll be my spiel.”
Her humour also appears in her adult content, blending the two worlds in a way her fans love.
“I have an Old Gregg ‘jerk-off’ instruction video I did just for fun,” she said.
“I painted myself green and was a scaly man fish, telling people pleasure themselves to my green scaly body. That’s my personality coming out.”
Despite balancing adult work, comedy, and raising a child as a single mum, Shanna says performing brings her a level of creative freedom she didn’t expect.
“I’m a social butterfly. I like hanging out with people,” she said.
“And I love the energy, the storytelling.”
Comedy, she says, has become a rare space where she gets to reclaim her narrative.
“I’ve been doing content for so long, but this is different,” she said.
“It’s fun, it’s mine, and I’m sticking with it.”
