Maeurn Smiles, a 25 year old model from Cebu, Philippines, is using the wealth she’s earned from adult content creation to build a school in her hometown proving that financial success and social impact can go hand in hand.
Once earning just £1 an hour teaching English as a teenager to help feed her family, Maeurn is now fully funding the construction of the Edmundo Tolentino Memorial National High School, named in memory of her late father.
It’s a deeply personal mission for someone who grew up in a bamboo hut, sharing a single textbook with dozens of classmates and dreaming of opportunities that never came.
Instead of splurging on luxury cars or designer brands like many of her peers, Maeurn is focused on long-term impact.

The first phase of the school is already underway, with plans to include classrooms, a library, and even a combined science and cooking center a feature she hopes will provide both academic knowledge and practical skills.
She’s also planning a dormitory for girls who live too far to commute and wants to offer scholarships to help top-performing students pursue STEM degrees.
Maeurn, who has 3.7 million followers on Instagram, launched her OnlyFans at 21 and quickly turned it into a platform that funds not just her own life, but the futures of others.

She’s unapologetic about her work and firm in her belief that how she earns money shouldn’t matter as much as how she uses it. Her critics, she says, are missing the bigger picture.
“Education saved me,” she says, “and that’s what I want to give back.” While the stigma around her career persists, local officials have praised her efforts for improving literacy and creating jobs. Her updates from the construction site regularly go viral, inspiring thousands who see the real-world change she’s creating.

Maeurn’s ultimate goal is to build a network of creator-funded schools across Southeast Asia. She wants every child who comes from poverty like she once did to have the chance to study under proper lighting, not by candlelight, and to see education not as a dream, but a right. What started as a personal promise has grown into a movement that’s reshaping lives and entire communities, one classroom at a time.
