‘I was a cardiac nurse during COVID earning $5K a month – now I drive a Cadillac Escalade thanks to OnlyFans’

A former cardiac nurse who worked on the hospital floor during COVID says she went from “selling her soul” for $5,000 a month to becoming her own boss on OnlyFans and has just treated herself to a brand new Cadillac Escalade.

Olivia Jaymes, 35, from New Jersey, had been a nurse since 2014 and was working on a cardiac unit when the pandemic hit.

She says the pressure, exhaustion and ethical concerns she experienced during that time pushed her to rethink her entire future.

“I was working on the cardiac floor during COVID,” Olivia told NudeNewz.

“There was no time. There was an extreme amount of pressure on us to save lives.

“I would work a full shift, then take call, get called in throughout the night and still have to go in for my other shift. You’re just tired.”

At the time, she was earning around $5,000 a month.

“If I did full-time hours, about five thousand would hit my account,” she said.

“There were COVID bonuses, but you were kind of selling your soul.”

Olivia says something inside her “snapped” during the pandemic.

“I remember feeling very trapped in my job for the first time ever,” she said.

“I was always really happy until COVID. Then I was like, I don’t know if I can do this until I’m 67. It was back-breaking work.”

The turning point came during a lunch break.

“I remember sitting in my break room and seeing an article banner that said, ‘Mom makes millions of dollars doing OnlyFans,’” she said.

“I remember thinking, what the heck is OnlyFans?”

She read up on the platform and couldn’t stop thinking about it for days.

“I thought, what would be the harm in just posting a few pictures?” she said.

“I remember taking my first three pictures and thinking it was going to be so hard to click submit.

“It wasn’t.”

Olivia initially saw it as nothing more than a “cute little side hustle”.

“It was supposed to pay for my groceries,” she said.

“That was the silliest joke of all. I was like, if this can pay for my groceries, it’s a win.”

Instead, her page “exploded” in the first month.

“In the first month it kind of blew up and I didn’t know what to do with all of it,” she said.

Within a year, she walked away from the hospital for good.

“I was able to leave my hospital job at the beginning of 2022,” she said.

“Financial stability is something I had never experienced before.”

But she insists the freedom people imagine isn’t always what it seems.

“You think you’ll have all this time, but now you’re the CEO of your own business,” she said.

“There are no days off. I work 24/7.

“I feel like I traded one kind of pressure for another, but this sacrifice is worth it.”

Unlike many creators who splash their earnings on designer bags and mansions, Olivia says she focused on saving and investing.

“My focus has always been to save and invest,” she said.

“I have a really great financial advisor. I’ve done things really smart.”

For years she drove the same Hyundai Santa Fe she bought after graduating nursing school.

Then, on the advice of her CPA, she finally treated herself.

“He told me, ‘You need a big tax write-off and you need it now. Go pick a car you’ve always wanted,’” she said.

Olivia chose a Cadillac Escalade.

“I just bought myself a brand new Cadillac Escalade,” she said.

“It feels really good because I’ve worked really hard.

“I don’t usually treat myself to tangible things, so this is something I drive around in and think, wow.”

She also pushes back on stereotypes about women in the industry.

“I don’t think OnlyFans girls are as cookie cutter as people make them out to be,” she said.

“I don’t think we’re all slutty or uneducated.

“I was a nurse. I’m educated. I’m married. I’m monogamous.”

Olivia says the biggest misconception is that creators can’t have stable, healthy relationships.

“I think you can have a monogamous and healthy, really amazing marriage and still do OnlyFans,” she said.

“You have to treat your partner with respect. You have to be loyal. All of those things can be true while running a successful OnlyFans.”

While one friendship ended over her career choice, she says most of her support system surprised her.

“My family is very strict and very God-fearing,” she said.

“But they’ve seen my life completely change and the good that’s come from this.

“They’ve been really understanding.”

She’s also using her new income to give back.

“We help a family during Christmas,” she said.

“It’s amazing to be able to help in ways I never could before.”

From exhausted nurse on a COVID ward to financially independent content creator behind the wheel of a luxury SUV, Olivia says she has no regrets.

“I was just hoping to pay for groceries,” she said.

“I never imagined it would turn into this.”
