Model and influencer Lana Madison has sparked backlash after revealing she sunbathes topless purely for attention, arguing her £15,000 breast implants are “too expensive to waste under clothes.”
The 29 year old trans woman, who has earned millions from her modelling career, says she feels no need to cover up after spending years and undergoing multiple surgeries to achieve her current look.
“I didn’t spend all that money to hide them under a jumper,” she said. “They’re here to be seen. That’s literally why I bought them.” With 76,000 Instagram followers under @lanabananaonly, Lana regularly posts provocative content and says she receives hundreds of messages daily.

She also enjoys public reactions, often heading to busy beaches in designer sunglasses, gold bikini bottoms, and no top in what she calls “performance sunbathing.”

She says the attention is the point, claiming both men and women stare, and she welcomes it. Raised in a conservative Catholic town in Texas, Lana says she once felt ashamed of her body but now embraces it unapologetically. “People say I’m vain, I say I’m living my best life. I worked hard for this body and I’ll show it off.”
Despite her millionaire status, Lana lives modestly—renting homes, shopping at Aldi and Goodwill, and driving a single Porsche. Her spending, she says, goes toward her appearance, which she considers her passion and power.

People are scared of a confident woman, especially a trans woman,” she added. “I won’t shrink myself to make others comfortable.”
She insists modesty isn’t in her plans. “If you bought a Ferrari, would you leave it in the garage?” she said. “I’ll still be topless at 60, turning heads. Confidence doesn’t expire.”
