Madelynn May, a 23-year-old model from Memphis, keeps her late father’s ashes with her everywhere she goes, including road trips and risqué photo shoots, as a way of staying close to him after his sudden death from cancer in December 2024.

Patrick, who passed away just three days after being diagnosed, was her biggest supporter and best friend, even appearing in her TikToks and online content before his passing.

Now, Madelynn rarely leaves home without his urn, explaining that it feels wrong to leave him behind during her busy travel schedule.

She says including him, even posthumously, brings her comfort. Whether she’s on a podcast or striking poses for her 631,000 Instagram followers, Patrick’s ashes are always close by.

Some might find it strange, but to her, it’s just part of their bond. She believes he’d be laughing at the wild places he ends up and proud of her success. Their final video together was filmed just ten days before his death a memory she cherishes and revisits often.
