A university student has revealed how she has managed to keep her adult content career separate from her everyday life – by wearing a black mask in every single video she has ever made.
Ana Lingus, who studies in Berlin, Germany, has been creating explicit content since 2020 while continuing her degree – and says she has never once shown her full face online.
The creator first started during the pandemic after stumbling across a livestreaming platform, before expanding to OnlyFans and building a loyal fanbase.

But from day one, she set one rule.
“I wear a black mask in all my content, no matter if it is a video or a live stream, and I have not taken my mask off for the whole time since I have been a content creator,” Ana said.
“The reason for that is that I am still studying in real life and I want to keep that part of my life separate.”
What began as solo livestreams during lockdown quickly developed into a full content career. Ana says the mask, originally intended as protection, has now become her signature.

“Even though I have gotten lots of requests for that, my most important boundary is that I am not taking off my mask,” she said.
The decision has helped her maintain privacy while navigating two very different worlds – lectures and coursework by day, filming and live streams by night.
Ana says balancing both hasn’t been easy.
“I think most people would be surprised that I have been continuing to study the whole time since I started in the industry,” she said.
“It takes me longer than it would if I wasn’t working at the same time. But I am glad that I stuck with it.”
While some creators promote their adult platforms heavily on social media, Ana has built her brand around mystery. The anonymity has given her a distinct presence in a crowded industry.
At the same time, she admits it has created hurdles.

“So far, some productions have been hesitant to feature me because I am wearing a mask,” she said.
“I hope to break the stigma surrounding masked creators.”
Despite the secrecy around her identity, Ana says she aims to create a space where subscribers feel comfortable exploring fantasies without embarrassment.
“I want my fans to feel that it is okay to experiment with different fantasies,” she said.
“I want to be in a judgement-free zone.”
Over the years, she has taken on a wide range of custom requests and creative challenges, often pushing herself physically and theatrically to keep content fresh.
One particularly ambitious project saw her attempting a long-form flexibility challenge with her filming partner, incorporating numerous complex poses in a single shoot.

“It was exhausting but really fun to create,” she said.
Ana says the biggest lesson she has learned since starting out is how quickly perceptions can shift once people discover someone works in adult content.
“Most people outside of the industry are very judgemental,” she said.
“Even seemingly open-minded people can draw a line when it comes to adult work. So it is very important to think about the consequences before starting.”
Despite the challenges, she says her life has changed significantly since 2020.

“My life has definitely become more free,” she said.
“I can travel more and connect with other creators. I have met so many open-minded people through this industry.”
For now, Ana plans to continue balancing her studies with her online career – mask firmly in place.
“It protects my privacy,” she said.
“And it has become part of who I am online.”
