Kira Pregiato went from a small-town student studying to become a physician assistant to a full-blown internet success story, now pulling in up to $500,000 a month as a model and influencer all thanks to a single viral TikTok.
The 20-year-old posted a simple video gushing about her love of cologne, and within days, it racked up 20 million views and nearly 10,000 comments, launching her into an entirely new career she never imagined would take off.
That moment, captured at a birthday party where she watched likes and notifications explode on her phone, changed everything. “It felt surreal,” she said. “I’d always made videos hoping they’d blow up, but when it finally happened, I was in shock.”

When a stranger recognised her in the bathroom that same night, she knew she had something big and instead of letting her 15 minutes of fame fade, she turned it into a brand.

Initially just having fun with content, Kira’s following grew rapidly across social media, and she made the bold choice to drop out of college to pursue influencing full time. Her parents were cautious but supportive.
They just wanted me to be safe and happy,” she said. After trying platforms like Fanfix, she eventually gave in to fans’ requests and curiosity and joined OnlyFans despite previously swearing she never would.
Almost immediately, the money began rolling in. In one month, she made a staggering $750,000. These days, she earns between $400,000 and $500,000 a month, well surpassing the income she would have earned in the medical field she once aimed for.

She bought her dream car, a BMW M4 Competition, but says she’s otherwise focused on saving, investing, and long-term plans like real estate and helping her family. “I want to spoil my parents and my brother Dean they’ve always been proud of me, even when others wouldn’t be.”
Though she’s riding high, the influencer lifestyle hasn’t been without its struggles. Kira admits to feeling distant from old friends since leaving university, and some have even expressed jealousy.

That’s tough,” she said. “But I can’t apologise for my success.” She’s also aware that many people from her past including former classmates now subscribe to her content. “It’s a bit weird, but they’re paying me like everyone else.”
Despite moments of loneliness and overwhelm, Kira keeps a clear perspective. “I remind myself how lucky I am,” she said. “Not everyone gets this opportunity.”
With plans to travel, invest, and expand her brand, she’s not slowing down. What started as a 15-second clip turned into a multimillion-dollar empire and for Kira, that’s just the beginning.
