Sophie Rain says her fame has reached a point where stepping outside without bodyguards is no longer an option.

The 21-year-old millionaire model and OnlyFans star, who’s raked in an astonishing $82 million from her content, now spends thousands on full-time security after finding herself overwhelmed by the intense attention she receives in public.

With 8.2 million Instagram followers under @sophieraiin, Sophie says she’s often mobbed by fans during what should be ordinary moments, like visiting the beach or popping into shops.

I love my fans and I’m grateful,” she says, “but it can be scary, especially when I’m out in a bikini or just trying to enjoy myself. There are times when it feels like people forget I’m a human being.”

Feeling exposed, she’s responded by hiring round-the-clock protection and even resorting to disguises when she occasionally ventures out alone.

If I have to go somewhere without security, I dress to avoid recognition hood up, sunglasses on, hair back, the whole thing,” she says. “But even then, I’m always looking over my shoulder.”

After moving out of the headline-grabbing Miami influencer hub known as The Bop House, Sophie traded viral mansion life for peace and privacy on a £2.7 million countryside estate, where she now lives on a sprawling 20-acre farm surrounded by animals. Yet despite the change of scenery, the attention hasn’t gone away.

Her work still requires her to film content in public spaces, often alongside fellow creators, which naturally draws crowds and sometimes unwanted interactions.

“People recognise me all the time, especially when I’m with the other girls from the Bop House,” she says. “Whether we’re dancing for a video or shooting somewhere scenic, we tend to draw attention fast and with social media, fans can figure out your location really easily.”

Sophie says she’s always careful about what she posts and when, trying to protect her safety while staying connected to her audience.

There’s a constant balance between being open with fans and staying safe,” she explains. “I just want to be able to travel, have fun and feel relaxed, without always worrying about being approached or followed.”
