Camilla Araujo, a 22 year-old model and adult content creator, is facing backlash online after accidentally knocking a tourist’s phone to the ground while dancing in front of the Eiffel Tower.
Currently in Paris for Fashion Week, Camilla was filming a playful video near the iconic landmark when she spun around with her arms raised and collided with a man who appeared to be recording the Eiffel Tower’s sparkling light display.
The phone slipped from his hands and hit the pavement and the moment, now seen by over 1.9 million people, quickly sparked controversy.
Camilla, who claims to earn £1.1 million from her online content and has over five million followers on Instagram (@realcamillaara), captioned the video with “I broke his phone,” seemingly trying to keep the tone light.
She could be seen awkwardly laughing and gesturing an apology in the clip, but many viewers didn’t find it amusing.
The comments were swift and critical, with followers demanding she replace the tourist’s phone. “Buy him a new one,” one person wrote bluntly.
Poor guy deserves a lil something,” another added. Multiple users echoed the same sentiment: “Did you buy him a new phone?” and “Hope you got him a new one.”
While Camilla hasn’t publicly confirmed whether she compensated the man, the moment has only added to the growing buzz and criticism surrounding her presence at Fashion Week.
Just days earlier, the Miami-based influencer made headlines after being mistaken for Katy Perry while rubbing shoulders with celebrities like rapper 2 Chainz and landing a front-row seat at Willy Chavarria’s high-profile runway show.
Her appearance sparked debate online, with some questioning why an adult content creator was seated alongside fashion insiders and A-listers.
Still, Camilla stayed gracious in her response to the show, calling it “incredibly emotional” and praising Chavarria’s work for its impact on the Latin community.
