‘My family have SHUNNED me for selling farts and boob sweat – but their disapproval motivates me’

Woman who earned over $200,000 selling fart jars says she was banned from TikTok and shunned by family after pivoting to selling boob sweat online.

A woman who has made over $200,000 selling farts and boob sweat in jars claims she has been kicked off TikTok and shunned by her family as a result of her questionable business.

Steph Matto, 31, from Connecticut, US, made headlines after being rushed to hospital in January with symptoms of a “heart attack”, caused by her forcing out excess gas.

The 90 Day Fiancé star says doctors told her to give up her fibre-high diet of beans, eggs and banana protein shakes, which had been fuelling her $200,000 business.

Last month the self-proclaimed ‘fartrepreneur’ turned her hand to selling her boob sweat in jars, which sees her earning $5,000 (£4,080) a month.

She claims putting a jar together for her fans takes her just 15 minutes, with the social media influencer spending up to four hours a day lounging by her garden pool to get the desired perspiration levels.

But despite the success of her unique businesses, she has received a barrage of backlash.

Earlier this week, Steph found her TikTok account – which boasted thousands of followers and millions of views – shut down without warning.

And it’s not just tech giants who have given her the cold shoulder – her extended family have also blanked the star due to her infamous business practice.

“I’m absolutely devastated,” Steph, who runs her own OnlyFans-style business Unfiltrd, told NudeNewz.

“TikTok didn’t give me any explanation and it’s honestly quite sad to me.

“I know plenty of creators doing much worse, showing much more skin than me.”

Family Rift Over Unconventional Career

The fallout extends beyond social media platforms to Steph’s personal relationships.

She said: “As far as my family, my mother is okay but my extended family in Czech Republic has completely shunned me and gives me a tough time.

“They’ve basically told me they don’t want anything to do with my business and work, and so I shield them from it.

“They’re very conservative and I know that they’ll never understand what I do and why I do it.

“It motivates me more to keep going, and at least my mum is coming around more.”

The cultural divide between Steph’s American lifestyle and her conservative Czech relatives highlights how geography and generational differences shape attitudes toward unconventional income sources.

Her Eastern European family’s rejection stands in contrast to her mother’s gradual acceptance, suggesting that proximity and direct relationship may soften initial disapproval.

Like other creators whose families struggle with their career choices, Steph navigates the tension between financial success and familial approval.

The Hospital Scare That Changed Everything

Steph’s January hospitalisation with heart attack-like symptoms represented a turning point in her fart-selling career.

The medical emergency stemmed from her extreme diet designed to maximise gas production – consuming large quantities of beans, eggs and banana protein shakes to meet customer demand.

Doctors’ advice to abandon this regimen effectively ended her ability to continue the fart jar business at previous levels, prompting her pivot to boob sweat sales.

The incident illustrates the physical risks of pushing bodily functions to commercial extremes, even for seemingly harmless products.

The Boob Sweat Business Model

Steph’s new venture involves a relatively simple production process compared to her previous work.

She claims each jar requires just 15 minutes of preparation time, though the collection process involves spending up to four hours daily by her pool generating sufficient perspiration.

At $5,000 monthly, the boob sweat business generates substantially less than her $200,000+ fart jar empire, suggesting either lower demand or lower pricing for this product.

The four-hour daily commitment to perspiration collection, whilst seemingly easy work, represents time investment that traditional employment wouldn’t require.

TikTok Ban Without Explanation

Speaking of her hardship, Steph posted on Instagram (@stepankamatto) to her 300,000 followers: “Selling ta ta sweat and toot jars has gotten my 130k TikTok account removed, shame from my Eastern European family…”.

The removal of her 130,000-follower TikTok account without explanation represents a significant blow to her promotional capabilities.

TikTok serves as a crucial marketing funnel for many adult content creators, driving traffic to paid platforms like OnlyFans or, in Steph’s case, Unfiltrd.

Her claim that “plenty of creators doing much worse, showing much more skin” remain on the platform suggests frustration with inconsistent enforcement of community guidelines.

The ban likely stems from TikTok’s prohibition on sexual content and adult services rather than specific violations in individual videos.

Social Media Support and Criticism

Social media users rushed to offer condolences on her Instagram post.

One social media user said: “Just keep going! People are afraid of people that are different and original!”

Another person added: “Being a queen is never easy is it.”

“Haters are just jealous because you are creative and made more money than most people make in a long time working a regular job. So you just keep being you!” added one follower.

But others questioned if her unique business ventures were worth it.

One person said: “Is it worth losing family though? No hate, just genuinely wondering how you feel about that side of your business.”

“Just get a real job where you leave the house and mingle. Life isn’t about get rich fast and do nothing to deserve it,” someone else agreed.

The divided response reflects broader societal debates about unconventional income sources, family obligations, and what constitutes legitimate work.

The 90 Day Fiancé Connection

Steph’s appearance on reality television show 90 Day Fiancé provided the initial platform that enabled her fart jar business.

The show’s audience, already comfortable with unconventional relationship dynamics and attention-seeking behaviour, proved receptive to her unique entrepreneurial venture.

Her reality TV background demonstrates how mainstream media exposure can launch careers in less conventional industries, providing both audience and credibility.

Unfiltrd Platform

Steph’s operation of her own “OnlyFans-style business Unfiltrd” suggests she’s moved beyond simply creating content to building infrastructure for other creators.

Running a platform involves technical, legal and financial responsibilities far beyond individual content creation.

This entrepreneurial expansion indicates Steph views her bodily function sales as part of a broader business portfolio rather than her sole income source.

The ‘Fartrepreneur’ Brand

Steph’s self-description as a “fartrepreneur” demonstrates savvy personal branding that transforms potentially embarrassing business into memorable identity.

The playful terminology reframes something crude as entrepreneurial innovation, positioning her as a businesswoman rather than simply someone selling bodily functions.

This branding strategy has clearly worked – generating over $200,000 in revenue and substantial media coverage.

The Price of Unconventional Success

Steph’s story illustrates the complex trade-offs involved in pursuing unconventional income sources.

Financial success ($200,000+ from farts, $5,000 monthly from sweat) comes alongside social costs (family rejection, platform bans, public criticism).

Her claim that family disapproval “motivates me more” suggests either genuine resilience or defensive rationalisation of painful rejection.

The question posed by one follower – “Is it worth losing family though?” – cuts to the heart of whether any amount of money justifies severed relationships.

For Steph, the answer appears to be yes, though her mention that her mother is “coming around more” suggests she hasn’t entirely given up on family reconciliation.

From Farts to Sweat: A Career Trajectory

The transition from selling farts to selling boob sweat represents both evolution and downgrade in Steph’s business model.

While the new venture avoids the health risks that hospitalised her, it generates far less income than her original product.

Whether boob sweat represents a sustainable long-term business or simply a bridge to her next venture remains unclear.

For now, Steph continues poolside perspiration collection, navigating TikTok bans and family disapproval whilst building her Unfiltrd platform – proof that in the creator economy, there truly is a market for everything.
