Sophie Rain, the 20-year-old powerhouse behind the viral “OnlyFans house” known as the Bop House, has hit back at criticism from parents accusing her of being a “bad influence,” saying it’s not her job to monitor what kids are watching online.
The model and entrepreneur, who has racked up 17.5 million followers across her platforms under @sophieraiin and made a staggering $50 million since joining OnlyFans in 2023, made it clear she’s not here to parent anyone’s children.
Sophie co-founded the Bop House, a luxury content mansion where she lives and works alongside six other models, including Aishah Sofey, Camilla Araujo, Julia Filippo, Summer Iris, and Ava Reyes.

The group shares light-hearted videos and dance clips on TikTok and Instagram under @bophouse, where they’ve attracted over three million followers.

But despite keeping explicit content on 18+ platforms, parents are concerned about how easily their children can stumble across their content online.
“I don’t think it’s fair to blame us for what children and teenagers see on TikTok,” Sophie said. “We aren’t trying to be the perfect Gen-Z role models. We’re enjoying our lives and making money.
It’s not our responsibility to parent other people’s children. They should be monitoring what their children watch and limit their access if they think it’s an issue. I’m not here to babysit.”

The criticism has been echoed by parenting experts and social media professionals who argue that the group’s massive online presence makes their content hard to avoid.
Kirsty Ketley, a parenting expert, said, “In an ideal world, kids wouldn’t access social media until they’re at least 16, but they’re getting on as young as seven. Parents need to be aware of the consequences.”
Giselle Elsom, managing editor at Truffle Social, added that the Bop House’s strategy of using platforms like TikTok and Instagram to indirectly promote their OnlyFans accounts makes content more accessible than ever.

With over 33 million combined followers, their reach is enormous, and the algorithm will continue pushing their content to more users,” she said.
The Bop House itself is a lavish $60,000-a-month rental spread across more than 5,100 square feet. It boasts five bathrooms, a rooftop pool with sweeping city views, marble flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows, a private lift, and 24-hour valet parking.

Despite the luxury and popularity, backlash continues to grow from those who worry about its influence on younger audiences.
Still, Sophie remains unfazed. “Most of our videos are just popular trends that millions of people are doing,” she said. “To see our X-rated content, you have to go to 18+ platforms. At the end of the day, we’re here to entertain. People will always have opinions, but we don’t let them bother us.”
