Aline Limas, once a full-time ICU nurse working gruelling 44-hour weeks for just $4,000 a month, has been named the “sexiest nurse in the world” by Playboy after swapping scrubs for content creation and launching a career in aesthetics.

The 30-year-old from Joinville, now based in Florianópolis, Brazil, turned her side hustle selling racy pictures online into a booming business that now brings in around $200,000 a month.

“It’s surreal to think an iconic magazine like Playboy would give me this title,” Aline told What’s The Jam. “I traded my stethoscope for cameras and never imagined it would take me this far.”

With 174,000 Instagram followers, Aline said she found a new passion in expressing herself online, which helped boost her self-esteem and led her to launch an OnlyFans account earlier this year after encouragement from fans.

Despite hesitating at first, Aline said she waited until she felt confident in her body and ready to share her life more openly.

The move sparked mixed reactions among her former colleagues some supported her, while others criticised or subscribed out of curiosity or fetish. “I became the talk of the hospital,” she said, “and I still get messages from friends saying my content is discussed daily.”

Now working part-time in aesthetics after completing her postgraduate studies, Aline focuses primarily on her online platforms.

She says the financial freedom has completely transformed her life, giving her time for fitness, family and travel luxuries she never had while doing shift work.

I don’t plan to return to full-time nursing,” she added. “My goal is to keep growing in aesthetics and online content and retire as soon as possible.”

Her family has stood by her throughout the transition. “My parents accept and support me,” she said. “I worked hard, went to college, followed in their footsteps, and I’m proud of that, but nursing is underpaid and exhausting. I wanted more out of life.”

For critics who judge her for capitalising on her looks, Aline has a clear message: “If being sexy and successful is a problem, I’m happy to be the solution.”
