A mum from Cornwall says she’s made £1,000 by running a Christmas treasure hunt where the prize is her used tights.

Lizzy Groombridge, 30, who’s become known online for her 6ft 3in height and long legs, has previously made £38,000 selling worn tights and £114,000 from foot pictures.

Her latest venture involves hiding used stockings around town and charging £50 for clues on where to find them.

She says the hunt has been a hit, with participants quickly tracking down the discreetly hidden packages. The appeal, she claims, is that there’s no need for direct contact during the exchange.

Lizzy plans to keep running the hunts until just before Christmas, using the profits to buy gifts for her children.

Alongside tights, she’s also fulfilled requests for underwear, socks, and even toenail clippings, which can fetch up to £70.

Reflecting on past struggles with money and relying on food banks, Lizzy says this unconventional work has transformed her life, allowing her to support her family and make the holidays feel magical again.
