London has taken the crown as the UK’s most sexually curious city, according to new data released on October 8 by long running adult cam platform Babestation.
The site, which has been broadcasting live webcam content since 2002, analysed usage patterns across the country and revealed some revealing and rather regional viewing habits.
Leading the list by a significant margin, Londoners have racked up over 1.7 million sessions on Babestation so far this year, making the capital the undisputed hotspot for late-night adult entertainment.

Birmingham sits a distant second with 316,000 sessions logged, showing a strong appetite in the Midlands, albeit not quite matching the frisky fervour of the Big Smoke.
The data also highlights peak hours of usage across various cities, and while many Brits appear to prefer a late-night scroll before sleep with the 10pm to 11pm window being the national sweet spot there are clear regional quirks that break this bedtime stereotype.
Manchester, for example, bucks the trend entirely, with most users logging on between 4pm and 5pm on a Wednesday suggesting midweek stress relief or perhaps a unique interpretation of a coffee break.
Over in Bristol and Sheffield, Friday is the big day for getting frisky, with viewers tuning in either during lunchtime or as soon as the workday wraps up, between 6pm and 7pm.
In cities like London, Birmingham, Leeds and Liverpool, weekend sessions dominate. But Liverpool shows an especially nocturnal inclination residents there tend to log in between 1am and 2am on Saturdays, keeping the party going well into the early morning hours.
Meanwhile, those in Newcastle appear to like a more structured start to the week, with Monday nights from 10pm to 11pm marked as the busiest hour for logging on.
Further north, Edinburgh users stay up latest of all, with the Scottish capital’s peak porn-viewing time recorded between 2am and 3am on a Saturday – suggesting a long-standing Saturday night tradition of partying that ends with a bit of solo screen time.
A Babestation spokesperson commented on the findings, noting that while late-night viewing remains common, the site’s data has exposed a wider spectrum of habits than previously assumed.
While most of us are logging on before bed, a few cities are breaking the mould,” they said. “Bristolians are sneaking a peek at lunchtime, Sheffielders are tuning in as soon as they clock off and Scousers are carrying on the party into the small hours.”
They added: “Our data proves what we’ve long suspected bedtime in Britain isn’t just about a cup of tea and lights out. Most people are logging in for a cheeky session right before they head to bed.
Whether that’s winding down after work, staying up late on the weekend or grabbing a moment of escapism before sleep, Babestation has clearly become part of the nation’s night-time routine.”
