A professional girlfriend has revealed her shock after being left a $25,000 AUD (£12,185) gift in a client’s will delivered as a surprise bank transfer the day after her 25th birthday.
Ruby Jade, a content creator from Brisbane with 26,000 TikTok followers (@ruby_x_jade), never imagined she’d receive anything from the client, let alone such a generous sum. “When I got the notification, I felt so incredibly grateful,” she said. “It showed how much I meant to him. I’m still lost for words.”
The man, who had long been battling liver issues, developed a strong bond with Ruby after confiding in her about his health. Though given an estimated four years to live, he ultimately chose euthanasia.

Ruby, who had visited him in hospital and stayed in contact up until the day before his death, said their connection was deep, despite the transactional nature of how they met. “He used to book me for hours at the club, but all we’d do was sit and chat. He gave me foot massages and talked about movies.”
The night before his passing, he gave her a letter revealing he’d included her in his will. “Honestly, the comfort I gave him wasn’t for money,” she said. “He just wanted someone to care, and I did.”
After his death, Ruby was trusted with notifying his friends and family and was even given his passwords, highlighting the level of trust he placed in her. She’s since used part of the money to celebrate her birthday, gave some to her brother to invest, and plans to invest the rest in herself.
This isn’t the first time Ruby’s been spoiled by admirers. This year alone she’s received around £3,000 in gifts, including a luxury weekend getaway, smart lamps, and an outdoor rug. One client recently offered her £8,666 for her time.
Ruby also works as a dancer at a strip club, where she met her now-girlfriend who was once a client herself. To mark her 25th birthday, she threw an extravagant event dubbed “Ruby’s Met Gala,” complete with sponsorship from a vodka brand and a nightclub.
