Model Nyla Caselli claims she was kicked out of a luxury $4,000-a-night Airbnb in Curaçao after the host wrongly assumed she was filming adult content while wearing a bikini.
The 23-year-old influencer, who has 900,000 Instagram followers, says she was simply taking photos with friends on the balcony when the incident occurred.
Hours later, she says the host woke her up and abruptly told her to leave, insisting they had seen her filming inappropriate videos.
“I was literally in a bikini,” Nyla said. “Nothing explicit. I think because my boobs are bigger, they jumped to conclusions. Maybe they Googled me.”
Despite trying to explain that she wasn’t recording anything adult, just posing in swimwear, she says the host insisted she was making “p*rn” and asked her to vacate.
Nyla, who is based in Los Angeles and earns over £1.2 million a year, said she had nowhere to go at the time. Airbnb reportedly offered her another hotel, but she chose to handle the situation herself and booked into the Marriott Resort nearby.
They welcomed me with a blue island drink and helped me feel safer,” she said, although the resort’s more romantic setting left her mostly keeping to herself.
The trip, meant to be a relaxing getaway, left her shaken. “It was really messed up. I had planned this vacation ages ago and was excited to enjoy the villa with the pool it wasn’t cheap,” she added.
The experience has made her more cautious about travel, especially as she prepares for a trip to Italy. “I’ll definitely be doing more research on the rules and places I stay,” she said.
Nyla began sharing content after high school and expanded to OnlyFans five years ago, building a large following through her confident and curvy image but she says this situation has made her rethink how she’s perceived when travelling.
