Model and OnlyFans star Candice Kloss has admitted she regrets her controversial dating tactic of making men take an intelligence test on the first date, saying it may have cost her the chance at real love.

The 24-year-old, who has a Mensa-level IQ of 136 and 380,000 followers across social media (@candicekloss), once believed her future partner needed to match her intellectually but now admits the strategy backfired.

“I think it was totally unreasonable to ask that of someone,” she said. “Looking back, I may have missed out on someone amazing because of it.”

Since dropping the tests, Candice says dating has become more enjoyable, and she’s open to men with knowledge in areas outside her own interests.

Someone might not know about politics or finance but could teach me something totally different. That’s been a refreshing surprise.”

The New Yorker also joked that she got tired of lugging the printed tests around on dates. And while she’s still single, she’s feeling more optimistic.

I’ve realised I can be a bit high-maintenance,” she admits. “And my IQ has scared people off in the past. I’ve corrected dates before like mispronounced words and it didn’t go over well. It makes things awkward, even if I mean well.”

Now earning around £47,000 a month on OnlyFans, Candice is also focused on self-growth. She’s visited 44 US states and plans to hit all 50 by the end of the year.

She surrounds herself with older, like-minded friends and spends her downtime reading about topics like finance, biochemistry and real estate. “I don’t have much in common with people my age,” she said. “My best friend is in her 40s.”

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, she’s still hopeful for love. “No plans yet maybe I’ll buy myself chocolates,” she said.

But if I meet someone nerdy, funny, wealthy and well-travelled, who knows? These days, I care more about honesty and mutual respect than IQ. Giving people a fair chance might be the key to finding real happiness.”
