Ruby Jade, a 24-year-old self-described “professional girlfriend,” is unapologetically reshaping the modern dating scene by setting clear expectations and high price tags before she even agrees to meet a man.
Based in Brisbane, the influencer regularly shares details of her lavish lifestyle, including luxury dinners, designer shopping sprees, and jet-set holidays, all funded by suitors hoping to spend time in her company.
But according to Ruby, it’s not about physical intimacy. She insists her interactions never go beyond hand-holding, and what these men are paying for is stimulating conversation and her attention.

She’s completely transparent about her conditions upfront, and claims many men are more than willing to meet them including her latest date, whom she met at a 50s dating-themed bar event. The meet-up wasn’t accidental.

Ruby specifically targets high-end social scenes and events in hopes of finding wealthy men in the right place at the right time.
She explained that before agreeing to a first date, her requirements are clearly laid out: a nice meal, a shopping trip, flowers, and organised transport.
She makes it clear there will be no physical intimacy, and if a man agrees to those terms, she’ll consider the date.

Her most recent suitor reportedly spent over £400 ($800 AUD) on dinner and a shopping spree all of which she documented in a TikTok video that quickly drew attention.
In the clip, Ruby shows off her haul: branded bags from Sephora and Mecca, a green lace lingerie set from Bras N Things, hair care products, makeup, candles, canvases, and other accessories.
She said her date happily bought everything she asked for including a contour stick she wanted on the spot simply because she told him to. The evening began with Thai food before moving into stores, where she admits to “going a bit crazy.”

She ended the video by telling her followers she’d keep them posted on whether she’d agree to a second date, noting that the man had already asked.
According to Ruby, this wasn’t even her most extravagant outing. She says some men have spent as much as £600 ($1,200 AUD) on a single first date, and believes that’s the kind of energy women should expect.

Her philosophy? If a man had a chance with a celebrity like Kylie Jenner, he’d spend whatever it took and Ruby wants to be treated with the same level of enthusiasm.
While her approach might raise eyebrows, she’s clear about her expectations and boundaries, and says the men who meet her terms do so willingly.
Whether she’ll see her latest suitor again is still undecided, but for Ruby, time is money and any man who wants her attention had better be ready to spend.
