Aline Limas, a former ICU nurse chief, has opened up about the backlash she’s received from her old colleagues after leaving her medical career to pursue a far more lucrative path in adult content creation.
The 30-year-old, who once worked 44-hour weeks for just £730 a month, now claims to be earning £46,000 monthly and while the financial transformation has been life-changing, not everyone from her past is supportive.
Speaking to NeedToKnow, Aline said her decision to step away from nursing in February 2024 wasn’t taken lightly, but she felt ready to prioritise her own happiness and financial stability.
Unfortunately, my former colleagues didn’t understand my choice and judged me for it,” she said. “But I’m confident I’m doing what’s best for me.”

Despite the criticism, Aline is standing firm. “The prejudice of others doesn’t pay my bills,” she added. “I focus on the support I have from people who really matter.” One of her strongest supporters is her husband, who she says has been behind her from the start.
Aline, who has 143,000 followers on Instagram, originally tried to balance both careers by working flexible hours before making the full-time switch.

She now uses her medical background as a unique element in her adult content, educating her audience on topics like self-care and intimate anatomy something her fans have embraced.
She credits her Instagram followers for pushing her to join OnlyFans, explaining that their constant encouragement gave her the confidence to take the leap.

They were always asking me to do it,” she said. “And since I enjoy showing off, I decided to fulfil their requests.”
Now also studying for a postgraduate degree in aesthetics, Aline blends her passion for beauty and health with a platform that allows her full creative and personal freedom and she has no regrets.
