Stephanie Matto, best known from her time on 90 Day Fiancé, is getting candid on TikTok about a relationship she had in her early twenties with a man more than five decades older.
Now 32, the former reality star says she was 23 when she dated an 80-year-old, and while she says she sometimes misses him, she’s quick to admit the experience wasn’t exactly rosy.
In her TikTok video, which has pulled in over 329,000 views, Stephanie jokes about the downsides of their relationship, including morning crankiness, dentures and halitosis.

While she acknowledges it might be taboo to speak poorly of the dead, she still considers him an ex like any other. She even pointed out he may have been older than her grandparents.
Stephanie, who previously made headlines for selling jars of her farts online, didn’t hold back in her reflections. She described the relationship as a misguided attempt to escape the hurt from younger men who, according to her, had used her for her body and money.
At the time, dating someone older seemed like a more stable choice, but in hindsight, she admits it was just a different kind of mistake.
According to her, age doesn’t prevent bad behavior. Older men can be just as emotionally unavailable and prone to cheating, she says, and many carry emotional baggage from past relationships.
She also noted that maturity doesn’t always come with age especially in men willing to date women significantly younger than themselves. In her words, it’s a red flag in itself.
Stephanie also dispelled the idea that older men are necessarily less sexual, joking that while “the lights are still on, they’re just flickering sometimes.” Ultimately, she summed it up by saying she wouldn’t recommend the experience to anyone else.
Her video sparked a flurry of responses, with many users echoing her perspective. Some said older men can be emotionally draining, jealous or manipulative, while others argued the opposite that older partners can offer stability and maturity.
A few commenters pushed back entirely, warning against generalizing all men based on personal experiences.
