Brazilian influencer Jaiane Lima says she was kicked out of a shopping mall in Santa Catarina for wearing what security deemed overly revealing clothes.
With over 477,000 Instagram followers, Lima claimed she was unfairly targeted because of her body, specifically saying, “I know my breasts are big and stand out, but I love them.”
She explained that she and a friend had gone to the mall to film social media content on a day when temperatures topped 30°C (86°F).
Despite the heat, she wore a long-sleeved top, knee-high stockings, a short skirt, and a cleavage-revealing top an outfit she defended as part of her personal style.

Photos and videos posted online show Lima being escorted out by security guards. She claimed a tall male guard approached her aggressively, demanded her phone, and took her to a back room where he forced her to delete her content.
I was very scared,” she said. “It felt like I had committed a crime. Luckily, some videos were saved to iCloud.”
Lima said she filmed nothing illegal or inappropriate, adding, “We filmed a simple video on the escalator, nothing excessive.”

She accused mall staff of humiliating her and highlighted broader issues about how women are treated based on their appearance. “There are still a lot of men who think women should be who they want us to be,” she wrote.
Her post went viral, drawing support from fans who called the treatment “absurd” and “embarrassing,” while critics accused her of seeking attention or behaving inappropriately in a public space. One comment read, “Shopping centres are not places for pornography.”
Lima insists she was judged unfairly and says women should be respected regardless of how they choose to dress.
