A former NHS healthcare assistant who was declined car finance because her wages were so low now drives a Porsche Macan Sport after strangers convinced her to join OnlyFans.
Brooke Glover was earning just £1,200 a month working at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, and had only £250 left over each month after paying her bills.
The 23-year-old was just two months away from completing her qualification when she realised she couldn’t face a future in healthcare.
She’d saved £2,000 to buy a second-hand Citroen DS3 after being turned down for finance on a Vauxhall Corsa – and thought she’d never drive anything better.
But when men started messaging her on Instagram asking if she had an OnlyFans account, Brooke decided to give it a try.
Within weeks of posting her link, she earned £28,000 in a single month.
“I remember saying to my mum, ‘I’m never going to drive a nice car because I’ll always have bad pay jobs’,” said Brooke.

“I came out of school with not many GCSEs as I didn’t enjoy school much, so I didn’t have good enough grades to do university.
“I saved and saved until I had £2,000 for my Citroen DS3 and I just thought this is my life – healthcare and being miserable.”
Brooke had worked in a care home before moving to the NHS in 2020, where she spent 10 months as a healthcare assistant.
She said: “I really, really disliked the job. I was so unhappy.
“I eventually wanted to try to become a nurse, but as soon as I started my job at Pinderfields, I knew I didn’t want to be a nurse.”
How Instagram Followers Changed Everything
Brooke had built up a decent following on Instagram over the years when followers started asking if she had an OnlyFans.
She said: “I didn’t actually know what it was. I Googled it and noticed some girls on my Instagram were doing it.
“I set it up in December 2020 and the first month was slow as I wasn’t posting my link anywhere.
“Then in February 2021, I had earned £28,000 in that one month just by posting my link in my bio and on my story.”
Despite the sudden windfall, Brooke continued at the hospital for another month before colleagues urged her to leave.
She said: “I remember the staff saying to me, ‘Brooke, why are you still here? Get yourself out of here while you’re young.’
“That’s what I did. I grabbed my things and I left and I never went back as my OnlyFans just took off.”
Building Relationships With Subscribers

Brooke credits her success to being genuine with her subscribers and building real connections beyond just sexual content.
“On my OnlyFans, they know they’re talking to me,” she said.
“I send out a lot of voice notes as I like to talk using voice notes, so they know they’re talking to me.
“It’s not all sexual on my page. I like to talk to subs about their day, whereas a lot of creators, it’s just money, money, money.
“Sometimes subscribers just subscribe to chat to you. They might not want anything sexual, which is absolutely fine.”
Brooke says she loves creating custom content – personalised videos made specifically for individual subscribers.
She added: “They’re my favourite things to do as it’s so personal.
“A subscriber will pay for a custom content which is a personalised video purely for them.
“I love when subscribers come onto the page and they’re shocked at how good my content is.”
The Strangest Requests

One of Brooke’s most unusual custom requests came from a subscriber who wanted her to speak French while strip-teasing.
“I had to spend the day before learning quite a few lines of French so I could speak in French on the video,” she said.
Another odd commission involved rubbing a cream pie all over her face while wearing gym gear.
She said: “I had to charge extra as it ended up ruining my eyelash extensions.”
Despite some unusual requests, Brooke maintains strict boundaries and refuses to cross them – even for extra money.
“From the start of doing OnlyFans, there have always been things I won’t do,” she said.
“If a subscriber asks for something I’m not comfortable doing, I won’t do it.
“The minute you start doing content and crossing boundaries is the minute you will start to really dislike your job.”
Family Support Made The Difference

Brooke says her mum and grandmother have been incredibly supportive of her career choice.
“It’s only ever been me, my mum and my nanna,” she said.
“My nanna has come down to photoshoots with me before and she’s always cheering and supporting.
“She’ll take pictures on her phone of me having photos in lingerie and says she’s really proud.
“I never actually had to sit down and have a full conversation about it. They know what I do and it’s quite normal now.
“I support my mum and nanna with a lot of things, and me starting OnlyFans has helped us all financially.”
Life Beyond Healthcare

Brooke’s life has transformed dramatically since leaving the NHS.
She now goes to the gym, eats at nice restaurants, stays at luxury log cabins multiple times a year and goes on regular holidays.
“I live a good life for a 23-year-old,” she said.
“I’m buying my first home next year and looking to buy another one the year after.
“I drive a Porsche Macan Sport. I love my cars – I’m a sports car girly.
“If I still worked in healthcare, I wouldn’t be doing any of the things I enjoy because I wouldn’t be able to afford it.”
The Reality Behind The Screen

Despite appearing confident online, Brooke admits she’s actually quite shy in person.
“My subscribers think I’m really confident, but behind the screen I’m actually really, really shy,” she said.
“That’s why on my OnlyFans, some subscribers who have been with me from the start – they know me, they know the real me.
“What you see on my Instagram is the real me. No fakeness, no pretending to be someone I’m not.”
Advice For New Creators
Brooke’s biggest advice for aspiring creators is to set firm boundaries from day one.
“Always set boundaries,” she said. “Don’t do something you’re not comfortable with just for the money, because you’ll start to really dislike your job.
“Once you start crossing your own lines, subscribers will keep pushing for more and it’s hard to go back.”

For the next 12 months, Brooke’s focused on saving for her first property and building a portfolio.
“When I was 18, I wasn’t thinking about buying a property,” she said.
“I was more bothered about cars, clothes, holidays.
“Now I’m 23, I’m ready to buy my own property and settle down.
“I just want to be happy and be grateful. It’s easy always wanting more and chasing the next best thing.”
