A former ballerina has revealed how she’s turned her online content business into a family operation – with her mother and brother both playing crucial roles.
Yaela Vonk, 39, earns almost £30,000 monthly and has enlisted family members to help manage the administrative workload.
Her mother, Bibi Brook, 62, handles scheduling and fan communications, while her brother Bas, 34, manages social media engagement.
The influencer, who has 1.7 million Instagram followers and lives in Valencia, Spain, pays her mother for the work and says it’s become “like a little family business”.

“We all laugh together because it’s like a little family business or something,” Yaela told NudePR.com.
However, the family maintains strict boundaries about their involvement.
From Perfectionist to Delegator
Yaela initially struggled to hand over any responsibilities due to her perfectionist tendencies.
“In the beginning it was really hard for me because I’m such a perfectionist with my job,” she said.
“But I had to give part of my responsibility away and now I have so much more freedom, so I’m happy.”
Her mother Bibi’s first assignment was photography, which didn’t go according to plan.
“At first, I asked my mum to help me with content; I would model and she would take the photos, but they went absolutely wrong because she can’t see well in one eye,” Yaela explained.
The failed photography experiment led to a better role match for Bibi’s skills.
Finding the Right Roles
After the photography mishap, Yaela reassigned her mother to administrative tasks.
“Now she helps me with the administrative aspect, like scheduling messages to my fans,” she said.

The transition required patience on both sides.
“She got a lot of critique from me in the beginning but is a fast learner – and now she can do it even better than I can,” Yaela added.
Her brother Bas handles a different aspect of the business – social media engagement.
His job involves following fans back so Yaela can later interact with them personally.
The division of labour allows Yaela to focus on content creation while family members handle time-consuming administrative work.
Mother’s Own Success

Inspired by her daughter’s achievements, Bibi launched her own account in 2020.
The 62-year-old, who has a background in dance like her daughter, now earns up to £1,800 monthly.
This income covers her rent and represents more than triple what she earned in her previous role as a part-time carer.
Bibi’s success demonstrates that online content creation isn’t limited to younger generations.
Her dance background provides similar advantages to those that helped Yaela build her following.
Strict Family Boundaries
Despite working together, Yaela and Bibi maintain firm boundaries about collaboration requests.
They’ve been inundated with inappropriate suggestions from subscribers wanting them to work together.
“Fans always want us to do content together but I’ll never do that,” Yaela said firmly.
The pair have created limited collaborative content that stays within their comfort zones.
“The maximum we’ve done together was pose in our lingerie for pictures and videos of us just cooking or doing the dishes,” she explained.
Yaela is transparent with subscribers about these non-negotiable limits.
“I’ll tell the fans the truth, saying, ‘look, it’s my real mom, we’ll not cross this boundary’ – I will not fulfil their fantasy,” she said.
Like other content creators who’ve discussed setting boundaries with audiences, Yaela recognizes the importance of maintaining personal limits despite financial pressure.

Father’s Mixed Feelings

While most of Yaela’s family embraces or participates in the business, her father has reservations.
“My dad doesn’t really like the type of content I am doing on OnlyFans but he is happy as long as I am happy with my life,” she said.
This generational divide reflects common family dynamics when adult children pursue unconventional careers.
Despite his personal discomfort, Yaela’s father prioritizes her happiness and autonomy over his preferences.
The family has found a way to maintain relationships despite differing views on her career choice.
Dance Background Influence
Both Yaela and Bibi credit their performing backgrounds for their success in content creation.
Yaela’s ballet training and flexibility have become signature elements of her brand.
The 39-year-old mother-of-one is known among followers for her flexibility and body awareness developed through years of dance.
“She definitely is an inspiration to me without really knowing it,” Yaela said of her mother.
“I think because I just grew up seeing her in theatres performing and I wanted to do that as well.”
Growing up watching her mother perform in theatres planted seeds for Yaela’s own performance career, even if the platform differs from traditional stages.
Business Management Challenges

Running a successful online content business involves far more than creating material.
Administrative tasks like scheduling messages, managing engagement, and maintaining social media presence are time-consuming.
Yaela’s decision to delegate these responsibilities to family members demonstrates business acumen.
Paying her mother for administrative work formalizes the arrangement and ensures professional standards.
The family business model allows Yaela to scale her operation while keeping control within her trusted circle.
Income and Lifestyle
At almost £30,000 monthly, Yaela’s income places her among top earners in the content creation space.
This substantial revenue supports her lifestyle in Valencia, Spain, and allows her to employ family members.
Her mother’s £1,800 monthly income, while more modest, significantly improved Bibi’s financial situation compared to part-time care work.
The business has created economic opportunities for multiple family members simultaneously.
Working Relationship Benefits

Beyond financial advantages, working together allows Yaela and Bibi to spend quality time together.
“We all laugh together,” Yaela said, emphasizing the positive atmosphere despite the unconventional nature of their work.
The arrangement enables them to share their passion for performance and creativity.
Bibi’s own content creation journey means she understands the industry from personal experience, making her a more effective team member.
Public Perception
With 1.7 million Instagram followers, Yaela maintains a significant public profile.
Her openness about family involvement in her business has generated both interest and debate.
Some applaud the entrepreneurial family spirit, while others question the appropriateness of the arrangement.
Yaela’s transparency about boundaries helps address concerns about the family dynamic.
Professional Evolution

Yaela joined her platform in 2019, meaning the business has evolved over five years.
The progression from solo operation to family-supported enterprise demonstrates natural business growth.
As revenue increased, delegating tasks became both necessary and affordable.
The current structure appears sustainable, with clear roles and maintained boundaries ensuring everyone’s comfort.
Future Considerations
As a mother herself, Yaela must consider how her business decisions might affect her child long-term.
The family’s acceptance and participation may help normalize her work within their household.
However, maintaining strict boundaries demonstrates her awareness of appropriate limits even within family business contexts.
The success of both Yaela and Bibi suggests the business model could continue evolving as circumstances change.
