A woman has revealed how a therapist’s advice to “put herself back out there” after a violent relationship led her to strip off for the camera and accidentally launch a booming adult career.
Krystal Galtry, from Melbourne, said she was in a dark place after leaving a DV relationship when she was encouraged to regain her confidence.
“I actually entered the industry through nude modelling after leaving a DV relationship,” Krystal told NudeNewz.

“My therapist told me I needed to put myself back out there and rebuild my confidence.
“I’m pretty sure she didn’t mean get naked and make money from it… but that’s exactly how I interpreted it.”
Krystal quickly discovered she loved creating content and even ran the idea past her mum before starting OnlyFans.

“I asked my mum if it was okay to start selling my nudes because it felt like this weird, wonderful new passion,” she said.
“She said yes, and none of us had any idea it would lead me to where I am today.”
She describes herself as “relatable, unfiltered and manic”, adding that her success comes from not caring what other people think.
“At the end of the day, I’m just me,” she said.
“People are entitled to their own opinion of me but I don’t care for it because it’s not mine.”
Krystal says the confidence she’s gained is what pushes her forward and her family now backs her completely.
“My mum sometimes regrets saying yes,” she admitted.

“But she watched me go from a broken, messed-up human with PTSD to someone confident, travelling, running my own business and genuinely happy.
“My family support me and so does my dad.”
She now co-hosts The Naked Truth Podcast with her best friend, hoping to break stigma and show the real, human side of sex work.
“We talk openly, share every detail, and don’t give a single care about anyone’s judgment,” she said.
