A woman who lost her job, home and car during COVID and was left sleeping rough on beaches has landed the cover of FHM magazine just as she turns 40.
Chloe Jade Lopez (@chloejadelopez) went from a desk job she hated to having just £50 and a rucksack after the pandemic wiped out everything she had built.
“When COVID hit, everything collapsed,” Chloe told NudeNewz.

“I lost my job, my house and I had a really bad car crash.
“So I jumped on a plane with 50 quid and a rucksack and just started again.”
With nowhere stable to live, Chloe slept wherever she could. “I slept on beaches, in doorways and in people’s spare rooms,” she said.

“At one point I was living with nothing and washing my hair with a hose.”
It was during that lowest point that Chloe wrote down a goal she says kept her going. “I wrote five years ago that I wanted to be on the cover of FHM,” she said.
“At the time it felt ridiculous, but I needed something to believe in.”
With no background in social media, Chloe began filming herself and posting content in a bid to rebuild her life.
“I’d never even had Facebook,” she said.
“I went to charity shops, bought a few outfits and started filming little videos on my doorstep.”
Her clips began to gain traction, eventually going viral and allowing her to support herself while travelling. “The growth came from just not giving up,” she said.
“Even when people were judging or laughing, I just kept posting.”
Now based abroad after years of travelling, Chloe says the FHM cover feels symbolic.
“The timing is crazy,” she said.
“It’s happening the same week I turn 40, and that feels like a message.

“People think life ends at 30 or 35, especially for women, but this proves it doesn’t.”
She says turning 40 has become part of her message. “This is a glow-up at 40,” she said.
“I’ve worked on myself, mentally and physically, and I’m proud of where I am.”
Chloe also documented her entire journey, including the moments she says most people never show.
“I’ve got videos of me walking miles with a rucksack, breaking down at the side of the road, sleeping rough,” she said.
“A lot of people say they’ve come from nothing, but I’ve got proof.”
Now, she hopes her story encourages others who feel stuck or written off.
“Everyone’s seen the viral clips and thought I’m just this crazy woman online,” she said.
“But there’s a real story behind it.
“If I can go from sleeping on beaches with £50 to being an FHM cover girl at 40, anyone can change their life.”
