A young creator says being reduced to tears by a toxic boss at just 18 was the moment she decided she would never work for someone else again.
Ina Marlene, 20, from the US, says she was training at a department store when her supervisor’s behaviour pushed her to breaking point.
“I had a very demanding supervisor who would sometimes yell at me for hours, until I broke down in tears,” Ina told NudeNewz.
“That experience became a turning point in my life. From that moment on, I decided that I would never depend on a job that took away my dignity.”
Instead of accepting the abuse as “normal” workplace pressure, Ina says she made a decision there and then.
“I no longer wanted to be employed,” she said.

“I wanted to build my own life and create freedom for myself, both personally and financially.”
While still completing her training, Ina began creating content aged 18, juggling the job with building an online audience.
“I chose to take responsibility for my own path and create a life on my own terms,” she said.
But she says the journey was lonely at times, especially when others around her did not understand what she was trying to do.
“I’ve never had professional guidance or a support system of people pursuing the same path,” Ina explained.
“My mindset has always been different from those around me. I built everything on my own.”
She says she spent long stretches working alone, determined to make it pay off.
“Many people didn’t believe in me, but I often spent countless hours alone at home, working on my content and holding onto the vision of one day achieving financial freedom,” she said.

“That determination and self-reliance define my journey.”
After finishing her training, Ina took the leap into content creation full-time.
Her income and independence improved, but she says she also learned quickly that not everyone in the industry is trustworthy.
“In the past, I worked with several agencies that constantly dictated what I should post and how I should present myself,” she said.
“It took a toll on my mental health and made it difficult to feel confident in who I am.”
Eventually, Ina walked away.
“I decided to step away from those agencies and start creating my own content, content that truly represents me, my style, and my vision,” she said.
“Now, I make content that I believe in and that I know is authentically me.”
Ina says her page is centred around confidence and control, but she wants it to feel empowering rather than fake.

“I show up unapologetically me, confident, free, and in control,” she said.
“My content isn’t about words, it’s about energy, presence, and owning who I am.”
She hopes it inspires others too.
“I want people to feel that same power in themselves,” Ina said.
“That they can do anything when they trust themselves and don’t let anyone else define them.”
Despite her bold online persona, Ina says she is more private in real life.
“Outside of my content, I’m actually very calm and private,” she said.
“I enjoy my own space, quiet moments, and reading.”
When she first told family and friends about her new career, she says the response was cautious, but softened over time.

“At first, it was new to them and they were a bit unsure,” she said.
“But over time, they got used to it, and more and more people have become supportive as it became part of my normal life.”
Now, Ina says she is proud of what she has built since walking away from that job at 18.
“My life has changed significantly,” she said.
“I earn much more now, feel freer and more independent, and have gained a lot of confidence from building my own business and creating my own path.”
But she warns others that the work comes with pressure.
“My advice to new creators is to really think about whether this path is truly what you want, because once you start, it comes with a lot of responsibility and you have to be prepared for hate and criticism,” she said.
“Also, be careful with agencies that try to control you or take away your authenticity.”
As for what comes next, Ina is keeping it quiet.

“For now, my goals remain a bit of a secret,” she said.
“But I plan to keep growing, expanding my reach, and continuing to build my business.”
And even with all the serious lessons she’s learned, she says some parts of the job still make her laugh.
“I’ve never gotten a truly outrageous request, but somehow I get a lot of… fart-related messages,” Ina said.
“Honestly, I’m not even sure why, but it never fails to make me laugh.”
