An OnlyFans creator who raked in more than $5.4million (£4million) from her social media accounts has been jailed after admitting to filing a false tax return.
Kylie Perez, who is better known online as Natalie Monroe, has been sentenced to a year behind bars after pleading guilty to the federal tax offence.
The creator, who boasts more than 2.8million followers on Instagram, earned the bulk of her fortune through OnlyFans between 2019 and 2023, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida.
False Return
But despite the huge earnings, prosecutors said Perez engaged in a scheme to evade tax by filing a false return for 2019.
Court records also reportedly show she failed to pay at least $1.5million (£1.1million) in taxes owed between 2020 and 2023, as reported by NeedToKnow.
Perez, from Tampa, Florida, pleaded guilty on 20 May before being sentenced on 20 August to one year in federal prison. She will then serve a further year of supervised release.
The criminal investigation was led by the Internal Revenue Service, with Perez prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Merrilyn E. Hoenemeyer. US District Judge Thomas P. Barber handed down the sentence.

US Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe said: “Evading the payment of owed income tax is a violation of our federal tax laws.
“We will continue to prosecute those who purposely commit these crimes.”
