An ex-flight attendant who quit because her bum was too big for the aisles is now travelling the world in spacious first-class seats – all thanks to her racy new career.
Alanna Pow, 22, used to feel embarrassed when her large bottom got stuck or knocked over passengers’ drinks while working in the cabin crew. But instead of making herself smaller, she bid farewell to aviation to cash in on her voluptuous behind.
And now that very same bum is the reason the Australian model can live out her dream of visiting the Seven Wonders of the World – in style.

“Travelling has always been my biggest dream,” said Alanna, who boasts over one million Instagram followers (@alannasworldx).
“I’ve gone from handing out plastic cups of wine to sipping champagne in first class, and it feels incredible.

“I loved working in the cabin crew, but you don’t actually get to see as much of the cities you land in that you want – because you’re constantly hopping on another flight.
“Now that I have the money and can work from anywhere, I am going to finally visit the Seven Wonders of the World.
“Each one is a goal ticked off and an excuse for an amazing photoshoot.”
It’s the kind of full-circle story that sounds made up – a woman whose body was literally too big for her old job now funds a globetrotting lifestyle because of it. But for Alanna, it’s just how life turned out.
From Cabin Crew to Content Creator

Since leaving aviation, Alanna has become a full-time influencer and adult model earning over £110,000 a month. Her fans watch on as she globe-trots to the world’s most famous landmarks – often posing in daring outfits to show off her famous bottom.
It’s even bigger these days, following three Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBLs) to the tune of £143,000.
The transition from flight attendant to online creator is one that a growing number of young women have made in recent years. Aviation, for all its glamour, is notoriously demanding – long hours, jet lag, modest pay and little control over your schedule. For someone like Alanna, who wanted to travel on her own terms rather than an airline’s, the creator economy offered a way out that also happened to pay significantly more.
Ticking Off the List

Alanna has already visited three of the Seven Wonders: Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, Machu Picchu in Peru, and the Colosseum in Rome. In December, she’s heading to Petra in Jordan and the Taj Mahal in India.
She said: “My fans love it when I post travel clips!
“My favourite so far was definitely Machu Picchu, even though it was Peruvian winter – it was raining and it was so cold.
“I loved the country – and the llamas.
“I also adored Brazil, but it was so busy and hot.
“I spent about two weeks in Peru, which was way too long, but I only spent a week in Brazil, and I wish I had stayed longer.
“I cannot wait to go back.
“Though flights to South America are definitely not cheap – over $5,000 travelling from Australia.”
For her followers, the travel content has become a highlight. It’s a format that blends aspiration with personality – part bucket-list documentary, part glamour shoot – and it gives Alanna’s audience something beyond the typical adult content fare.
She added: “Once I’ve done the Taj Mahal and Petra, I’ll head to the Great Wall of China and Chichén Itzá.
“After that, I want to see the Northern Lights.”
Solo Travel and Independence

Alanna often travels alone – and says she wouldn’t have it any other way.
She said: “I actually went to Peru by myself.
“I did a tour for young people – it was so much fun.
“I’m independent, I run my own business, and I see the world on my own terms.
“People think being sexy and successful don’t mix – but they clearly do.”
Solo travel among young women has surged in recent years, driven partly by social media and partly by a cultural shift toward independence over convention. For creators like Alanna, whose income isn’t tied to a location or a schedule, the freedom to pick up and go is one of the biggest perks of the job.
It’s also good content. Travel posts consistently outperform static studio shots across most platforms – and when the destination is a World Wonder, the engagement writes itself.
What’s Next

Alanna’s ambitions don’t stop at the traditional Seven Wonders. She’s already planning her next challenge.
She said: “Next year, I am going to tick off the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
“I’ll be flying in style, of course.”
And she’s not lost the irony of her journey – from a woman whose body was a problem in her old career to one whose body funds a lifestyle most people only see on Instagram.
She added: “Every time I take my seat in first class, I laugh to myself – because my bum used to stop me from working and now it’s the reason I can travel so much.”
It’s a kicker that neatly sums up Alanna’s story – and the broader reality of the creator economy. What one industry sees as a liability, another sees as an asset. For Alanna, the only thing that changed was the industry.
The Bigger Picture

Alanna’s story sits at the intersection of several trends – the boom in adult content creation, the rise of travel influencing, and the growing number of young women leaving traditional careers for self-employment online.
None of those trends show signs of slowing down. And with three BBLs, a million followers and a first-class seat booked to Jordan, Alanna is riding all of them at once.
Like other creators who blend lifestyle and adult content, Alanna says the key to her success is showing her audience the full picture – not just the racy side, but the llamas, the landmarks and the laughably expensive flights from Australia.
