A former art teacher who was forced to quit her job the moment students discovered her OnlyFans during class has revealed how she now earns triple her annual teaching salary in just one month.
Ruth Wooster, from Tennessee, had been working as a high school art teacher during Covid when her worst nightmare became reality.
“A few of my students found my OnlyFans mid-class,” said Ruth.
“I had to quit teaching that day.”
The two-sport college athlete, who graduated with two degrees and worked as a personal trainer before teaching, had always been hesitant about pursuing OnlyFans full-time.
She’d begun selling explicit faceless content in college, but it was her boyfriend at the time – now her ex-husband – who pressured her into creating an OnlyFans account.
“I was definitely hesitant because I wanted to have a ‘proper’ career and pursue teaching,” Ruth said.

“Doing OnlyFans is generally career suicide so I always caution others from pursuing it.
“My fears became a reality when students found me.”
But just months after being forced to leave teaching, Ruth’s social media accounts exploded and she became known as the “bikini woodworker” – a hyper-feminine creator who builds custom furniture whilst livestreaming to fans.
The transformation from respected educator to controversial content creator has been dramatic – but Ruth insists teaching was far harder than people realise.
“I never believed in burnout because I considered it a pussy mentality until I became a teacher,” she said.
“That job put me through hell.
“Even my parents agreed, and I come from generations of educators.
“However, I adored my students and was really good at teaching.”
Now Ruth’s brand “thrives on the unexpected” as she blends hyper-femininity with blue-collar grit.
“I can rebuild a carburetor, deadlift 3x my body weight, frame a house and build the furniture that goes inside it,” she said.
But it’s her extreme lifestyle that really sets her apart from other creators.

Ruth travels the world solo as a full-time livestreamer, often taking calculated risks for her viewers – including visiting active conflict zones.
“I wanted to better understand the Israel/Palestine conflict so three weeks later I booked a trip and met with viewers in Palestine and Israel,” she said.
“I was in Tel Aviv when Iran attacked and watched the missiles hit mere blocks from my hotel.”
The fearless creator has eaten live hissing cockroaches, been tear-gassed “countless times” and once accepted a professional boxing fight with just 10 days’ notice and no training.
She has plans to go trekking with gorillas in Rwanda and rafting the Zambezi in Zambia in the coming months.
When she’s home in Tennessee, Ruth works in her woodshop building custom furniture and home goods whilst livestreaming the entire process.
“I live stream and document it all so customers can watch their items being built in real time,” she said.
“It’s really cool being able to interact with them while I create so I can adjust as I go to build exactly what they want.”
But her OnlyFans content ventures into far more unusual territory.
Ruth’s biggest niche is wedgie fetish – something she’s “not entirely sure” how she fell into.

“Their favourite is exhibitionist style where I get atomic wedgies in public,” she said.
“I’m sure you can imagine the stares I get.”
The strangest request she ever received was a shrinking kink.
“I had one fan that would pay me thousands to roleplay a genie,” Ruth explained.
“His wish was to be shrunk down and swallowed by me.
“I would describe how good it felt to have him slide down my throat and be inside me while I got off.”
Despite the unusual content, Ruth insists she doesn’t consider any kink strange.
“I’ve definitely gotten some unique requests but I always feel grateful my fans are comfortable being vulnerable enough to share their deepest desires,” she said.
“Oftentimes I’m playing therapist and exploring things with them they’re too embarrassed or nervous to share with their partner.”
Ruth’s career choice has had devastating consequences for her relationship with her deeply religious family.

Raised in a strict Christian household, she attended a Christian university on a full scholarship – graduating with a minor in theological philosophy.
“Not one of those fake religious schools like Notre Dame,” she said.
“This school had chapel three times a week, opposite genders weren’t allowed in the dorms.”
She managed to conceal her OnlyFans from her grandparents until they passed away.
“They were heartbroken when my cousin got a tattoo so I can’t imagine how they’d react to my social media presence,” she said.
But when her grandparents died, people across the nation looked up their obituaries online.
“Since I share the same name as them, my OnlyFans was the first thing that came up,” Ruth said.
“My family was of course shocked and disappointed.
“Annoyingly enough, they all went to my parents about it instead of confronting me.
“Snitches.”
Ruth maintains an “extremely close relationship” with her parents, who have loved her unconditionally, but she no longer speaks to the rest of her family except two cousins.
The financial rewards have been substantial, however.

“Right now I earn in a month triple what I made annually as a teacher and that’s just on OnlyFans,” she said.
“The money is amazing but that doesn’t mean it was easy to make it.”
Ruth works 12-hour days with days off being “a rarity” and has lost friendships because she puts work first.
“I’ve owned multiple exotic cars and homes all before the age of 25,” she said.
“It’s afforded me the ability to try and do anything I want and meet some really special people along the way.”
But there’s one major secret Ruth managed to keep hidden from everyone – including her own parents for several years.
“I was married,” she revealed.
“Together for seven but married for four.
“Five months ago I divorced him.
“Most of the people I know in the industry are in secret relationships.
“I get why it’s done but I’ve committed to always being honest with my viewers from here on out.
“I don’t want my fans supporting me under false pretences.”
The revelation of her secret marriage comes as Ruth plans to make another major life change.

“I actually have a 12-month plan to quit OnlyFans,” she said.
“But in the meantime I’m full sending that side and trying to maximise collabs and experiences.”
She’s currently working to expand her woodworking business and learning Arabic to better connect with her Middle East viewers.
“I will continue to do quite a bit of travelling with a new country every month as I venture a bit more into real-time news journalism,” she said.
Ruth averaged 60 hours a week livestreaming on Kick.com last year whilst running her own OnlyFans, five Instagram/TikTok accounts, plus Twitter and YouTube.
“Most people think being a creator is easy when in actuality I am putting in 12-hour days,” she said.
“I see everything through the lens of content opportunity so it’s hard for me to ever relax.
“You have to maximise your money while you can because the fall-off can happen at any time.”
But for anyone considering following in her footsteps, Ruth has a stark warning.
“Don’t start an OnlyFans until you have the social media following to justify it and only pursue it if you have a sickening work ethic,” she said.
“The average creator brings in £1,560 a month.
“That’s not enough to throw away future employment opportunities.
“It’s a big decision.
“You’ll lose relationships and friendships.
“You have to have a thick skin with full confidence in who you are and how you look.
“Remember that what is said online – or to your face – is only hurtful if you believe there’s any truth in it.”
