A cosplay creator says men laugh in disbelief when she tells them she is a virgin who has never had a boyfriend, simply because she sells adult content online.
Donna Mendoza, says her OnlyFans account has helped her fund university and pursue her creative dreams, but has made dating unexpectedly difficult.
“I’m a virgin, never been with a man before, never had a boyfriend,” Donna told NudeNewz.
“But most men judge me just for having an OnlyFans account and usually laugh when I say I haven’t been with a man ever before.”
Donna says the assumptions come before people even look at what she actually creates.
“They think I’m easy without giving any thought to the content I sell here,” she said.
Rather than discouraging her, she says it has helped her filter people out.

“In some sense it’s helping,” Donna explained.
“I don’t want to waste my time on people who are ready to disrespect me solely on the basis of ever being registered on the site.”
Donna began cosplaying at an early age after discovering other creators online.
“I was really inspired to try making cosplay myself.”
After turning 18 and finishing school, she decided to monetise her hobby.
“Right after my 18th birthday I created a platform to sell and tried a new format, less artistry, more raw and sexual,” Donna said.
“I really enjoyed it and so did my fans.”
Despite the adult label, Donna says her boundaries are firm.

“I only do topless content,” she said.
The income has transformed her opportunities.
“With all the money I earn now I can afford things I couldn’t even dream about when I was younger,” she said.
Her first priority was education.
“I enrolled in university as soon as I could afford university fees,” Donna explained.
“I’m about six months away from getting my bachelor degree.”
She has also started taking music lessons.
“I now even take music classes to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a musician,” she said.
“All of this I never believed was a possibility before.”
Donna says her lifestyle remains simple.

“My lifestyle hasn’t really changed, I still prefer my life simple, over luxurious,” she said.
“But I got more time to focus on myself.”
What she loves most is the craft itself.
“I put tons of work into my cosplays to make them appear as close to the original as possible,” Donna said.
“I want people to look at the picture and think, ‘damn, it’s like a character came to life’.”
She also shares non-cosplay content.
“With my non-cosplay content I want to give my fans a glimpse of my true self,” she said.

“Just a girl, very down to earth, geeky, shy and weird.”
Donna says her family and friends have been supportive.
“My family knows about what I do and supports me immensely,” she said.
“My friends supported me right away and still help with my most ambitious projects.”
“I want people to see me for who I actually am, not what they assume,” she said.
