A former Marine who made history as the first woman ever to do her job in the Corps has revealed her military colleagues were among her first paying fans.
Abby Rose, 33, spent years serving alongside hundreds of men who she claims resented her presence and made her feel unwelcome.
But after leaving the military as a new mum with no savings – having poured everything into a nonprofit coffee shop – she turned to adult content creation out of desperation and quickly discovered her former comrades were willing to pay hundreds of pounds just to see a bikini picture.
“My brother’s struggle with severe mental illness and homelessness is what pushed me to start a nonprofit while I was serving in the military.
“That mission has stayed with me ever since. I no longer run the coffee shop side, but I still use my income to help people directly, spending around $1,000 a month on supplies for those experiencing homelessness. For me, it’s important that what I earn also goes toward helping others.”
The creator, who has over 344,000 Instagram followers @itsabbyrosemain, says she earned around £15,000 ($20,000 USD) in her first month alone and has since bought her own house with a pool.
“I was the first female ever to do my job in history – there was me and two other women out of hundreds of men that had been doing this job since the military started,” said Abby.

“They didn’t really necessarily want us there. They had a lot of hate towards us.
“But I was able to push through all of that and kind of earned my place.
“I ended up becoming the first female section chief, which is basically a leadership role.”
Despite earning her stripes, Abby says life in the military took a heavy toll on her mental health – from sleeping in tents with rain pouring in to being harassed by male colleagues around the clock.
She told NudeNewz: “I went from laying in tents with rain pouring down on me, waking up in puddles, being harassed by guys 24/7 and being treated like a dog by leaders in the military.
“I was just surviving day to day, trying to get through it mentally.”

Abby says she always considered herself a sexual person but claims she faced constant double standards in the military when it came to expressing herself.
She said: “When a guy was sexual, it was no problem at all.
“But if I slept with a guy, everyone would find out about it and slut-shame me.
“So when I got out of the military, I felt like I wasn’t going to be able to express myself sexually.”
After leaving the Marines, Abby moved to her ex-partner’s hometown as a new mum with no money – having invested all of her savings into a nonprofit coffee shop she had founded while serving.
When the relationship broke down, she found herself with nowhere to live and no income.

Abby, who is based in Houston, Texas, US, initially tried stripping to make ends meet before learning more about the online side of adult content from other dancers.
She said: “I started stripping and made a lot of money off that.
“Then I started selling bikini pictures on my Instagram – and all my military guys were dying to see me in a bikini.
“They were paying hundreds of dollars just to see a bikini picture of me.
“I made about $20,000 in the first month. That was a lot of money for me, especially coming from the military.”
Abby says the money has transformed her life and allowed her to buy her own home – complete with a pool – something she describes as one of her proudest moments.

She said: “I’ve always been a really hard worker in everything I do and I give it my all.
“I always felt like I wasn’t reaping what I sowed.
“But now I feel like everything I’ve worked so hard for has paid off.
“Money might not bring happiness, but it makes the happy times better.”
As for the strangest fan request she has ever received, Abby says one man asked her to pretend to be a human car wash – using her hair as the bristles.
She said: “He wanted me to pretend like I’m in a car wash and he’s in the car wash with me, and I am the car wash.
“He also has a hair fetish, so my hair was like the bristles of the car wash.”

When it comes to her family’s reaction, Abby says her dad is proud of what she has achieved – particularly the house – even if they never discuss the specifics of her career.
She said: “He’s just really proud of me that I bought my own house and he’s proud of how well I’ve been raising my family.
“All he cares about is that I’m happy.”
She admits her mum was slightly disappointed but says it was not a surprise to her, adding that her family are “not super supportive but definitely not unsupportive”.
Looking to the future, Abby is planning to learn Spanish and potentially move to Mexico, where she hopes to rent out her current home and invest in property abroad.

She is also a mental health advocate who is currently writing a book about her life, and says she is passionate about helping other creators plan for their financial futures.
She added: “More creators need to learn about finances – setting up savings accounts, investing into real estate and the stock market.
“I feel like that’s a very big thing in our industry that girls lack – preparing for the future.
“You don’t really want to be doing any job forever – you want to be able to retire.”
