A Catholic school girl who once dreamed of becoming a nun has swapped the convent for content creation – and is now an award-nominated adult star.
Anna Lynx, 28, grew up in a strict religious household where Sunday mass was non-negotiable and daily church visits were common.
The eldest of four siblings, she attended Catholic school where uniforms were mandatory, makeup was banned and hair dye was forbidden.
But the blonde model has since traded hymn books for something far racier – building a career as both a mainstream adult performer and professional dominatrix.
“As a little girl I even thought about becoming a nun,” said Anna, who has over 15,000 Instagram followers @missannalynxofficial.
“I went to church every Sunday, sometimes even daily.
“My family is very religious – Catholic through and through.

“Now I’m shooting professional films and getting nominated for AVN Awards.
“It’s like the Oscars but for adult movies.”
Anna’s journey from pious schoolgirl to adult performer took several unexpected turns.
After leaving her strict Catholic education, she enrolled at an art school where she discovered a passion for metalwork, painting and sculpture.
She later trained as a makeup artist and worked her way up to become a manager at an international beauty company.
But everything changed when she was hired to do makeup on set.
“I was very curious because it was my first time experiencing anything like that,” she said.
“It was one of many things that made me take the decision to start shooting professional movies.”

The Amsterdam-based creator began her adult career in 2020 as a webcam model, initially desperate to keep her new profession hidden from her devout family.
She said: “I tried hard to stay anonymous.
“I didn’t want my family and friends to find out.
“At some point they did and that was both the most horrible and liberating period of my life.”
Her family’s reaction was far from forgiving.
Anna said: “Some family members don’t want to talk to me or see me anymore.
“For some reason they cannot separate me as a person from my work.
“We don’t really speak about my job – they never ask questions.
“I have one family member though who is okay with my occupation and I can talk with them freely.

“This means a lot to me.”
Despite the family rift, Anna has built a thriving career that spans mainstream adult films and professional domination work.
She describes her brand as “a kinky mind hidden behind an angelic face” – a gentle but commanding dominatrix who defies expectations.
“Many people don’t expect a cute blonde angel to engage in some pretty extreme BDSM,” she said.
“Not many Doms do mainstream movies, so that makes me unique.”
Her most talked-about content pushes boundaries even by industry standards.
Anna said: “I have shot a few videos as a Dom fisting a male slave almost shoulder deep.

“My goal is to fit my whole arm in when we shoot together again.”
The creator, whose waist-length blonde hair has never seen extensions, says her content reflects her genuine desires.
She said: “I like to say that my content is my sex diary.
“I shoot content that I would like to watch myself.
“I only work with people that I feel attracted to – I want to show real passion.”
Anna’s adult career has earned her multiple AVN Award nominations and taken her to industry events across the globe.
She even met her best friend on a adult set – the pair now speak daily despite living in different countries.

“My life became more intense,” she said.
“I travel a lot for shoots, collabs and events.
“The industry gave me financial freedom.
“I’m not a millionaire but I have enough money to live my life.”
Looking ahead, Anna hopes to expand her reach and continue challenging viewers’ expectations.
She said: “I want my fans to explore their sexuality.
“I often challenge them by doing things they would never expect.
“I want them to stay open-minded.”

Her advice to aspiring creators is simple but firm.
Anna said: “Always rely on your gut feeling.
“If something feels off, it’s probably not for you.
“Think about your boundaries and stick to them.
“You don’t want to be in therapy for years for a few hundred dollars more.
“In the long run your body and your mind is all you really have – so take care of them the best you can.”
