Model Yvonne Bar has turned her surgically enhanced figure into a million-pound business, thanks in large part to her eye-catching H-cup breasts which she proudly uses as a shelf for everything from coffee cups to candles.
The 30-year-old, originally from Germany and now based in Dubai, says men regularly pay her to balance unusual items on her chest, which has become her trademark online.
With more than three million Instagram followers (@yvonne_bar_), Yvonne says she receives hundreds of DMs from fans suggesting objects to balance on her bust.
They’re like a shelf,” she says. “I can’t see my toes, but I can balance coffee cups, bananas, and even candles. It’s fun and it pays well.”
After spending around £50,000 on breast augmentations four surgeries in total Yvonne now earns around £1 million a year through content focused on her dramatic curves.
My boobs were expensive, but they’ve paid for themselves many times over,” she says. “Each one weighs around 2.2lbs, and when I’m out, I often rest them on a table. It’s literally a relief.”
Her path to this look started with a desire to move away from her naturally tall and slim figure. In addition to breast surgery, she’s had a Brazilian Butt Lift and a nose job to achieve her current appearance, which she says she loves though it’s not without its downsides.
While her look is embraced in Dubai and by her global fanbase, Yvonne says it attracts harsh criticism when she visits her hometown of Frankfurt. “People back home can be judgmental,” she explains.
Strangers have told me they don’t like the way I look. In Dubai, people are just curious, but in Germany, some act like my body is offensive to them.”
Day-to-day life also brings challenges, especially when it comes to finding clothes or working out. “Whatever I wear looks sexy, even if it’s not my intention,” she says.
The gym is tricky I can’t run or jump, and those tiny workout tops girls wear are definitely not an option for me. But I find other ways to exercise.”
As for more surgery, Yvonne says she’s content with her current size but hasn’t ruled out future enhancements. “I love my body the way it is, but who knows? There’s always room for improvement.”
