A content creator who joined OnlyFans when it first launched claims she was one of just a dozen women on the platform – a decade before it exploded into a global phenomenon.
Chloe Michelle, 36, signed up ten years ago when the site looked completely different to the adult content hub it has become today.
Now with over a million creators worldwide, the model says she has watched the platform transform from a tiny corner of the internet into a cultural juggernaut.
And despite the industry’s explosive growth, Chloe insists some of her original fans have stuck with her through the entire journey.
“I was actually one of the first dozen women to get OnlyFans ten years ago,” said Chloe, who is known on Instagram as @chloe_michelle_88.
“It was a completely different platform then.
“It’s been interesting to see it evolve and grow so much over the last decade.”
Chloe never finished high school after her parents told her she had to get a job as a teenager.
She spent years working in offices but always craved the freedom of being her own boss.
The platform gave her exactly that – and she hasn’t looked back since.
She said: “I’ve always been an office girl but craved the freedom of working for myself.
“I love the freedom.
“Travel is so important to me so I’m lucky I’m able to do what I love whilst seeing the world.”
The Australian-based creator describes her brand as “fun and sexy” and prides herself on building genuine connections with her audience.
She said: “I love to make people laugh but turn your head also.
“I think my loyal fans love getting to know me on a personal level.
“I’ve had a few that have stayed with me this entire journey.”
Over the years, Chloe has received her fair share of unusual requests – including one fan who regularly video calls her alongside his unsuspecting mother.
She said: “One fan likes me to FaceTime with him and his mother.
“I’m quite certain she thinks I am his girlfriend.”
Another memorable request saw her filming a bizarre scenario involving someone pretending to fall while she stood on their fingers.
She said: “They wanted me to pretend they were falling and I stood on their fingers to make them fall.
“It was fun to create that.”
Having joined the platform before nudity was even a significant part of it, Chloe says she never faced the awkward conversations many newer creators dread having with loved ones.
She said: “Because I have been in the industry before any nudity was even involved on the site, this was never an issue for me.
“We all have our boundaries.
“I don’t think OnlyFans carries the taboo it used to years ago.”
After a decade in the game, the veteran creator has one key piece of advice for newcomers hoping to follow in her footsteps.
She said: “You can’t please everyone.
“Everyone will always have an opinion.
“As long as you’re happy with who you are and what you do, don’t worry about others’ opinions.”
